Desk clear (well, as good as it ever gets...)
Luggage packed (a little overweight, but then so am I ... yes, I am!)
Got tickets, got passport, got clean underwear (in case I get knocked down)
Well, if we haven't got it with us now, we haven't got it. I lay in bed last night, unable to get to sleep with everything running through my mind - in the end I had to make a list, 'cos I was worried I wouldn't still remember in the morning!
This is the point where we have to let it all go and hand the whole thing over. Beyond the front doors of this house, we're in the Lord's hands.
And what good hands they are too.
"The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want."
Talk to you from London maybe, or Qatar, or Bangkok, or Cambodia.
Please pray!

The teenage Sunday School got together to send you some support. Their messages are below. From Elainea, Claire and Paul: we all wish you a safe journey (not too much air turbulence) and know that you will all bring something rich to the people you meet; firendship, warmth, knowledge that someone else cares and most of all that we will try to follow God's plan (hope that you find one when you get out there!!). Take care.
From Ross: Hey, is your journey alright? I hope it is. I hope you're all feeling alright - are you nervous or excited (or both)? I know I would be.
From Sally: Helen - Have you been able to get a shower?
Everyone - How hot is it? What is the temperature in Cambodia? Are you having a good time? I'd like to come to Cambidia when I am old enough. What kind of medicines have you taken?
From Storm: I think what you are doing is great. I wish you luck. Thinking of you, hope it goes well and everyone is fine. Are you having a good time?
From Rachel: How are you? Are you bored travelling? How many books have you been through? What is the weather like? (Helen - at least you get some time off school!)
From Nathan: Hi Davie. What is the weather like?
Bon voyage, guys. Hope the journey is smooth & you get the bagpipes through customs OK! At least you have plenty leeway in case of delays!
Praying God will bless you all loads & renew your heart for His world. I know you will find some stuff really difficult to deal with, but I can tell you, God will use that as much as the happy times. Without being too over-the-top, this trip will change your lives in many ways. As your comfort zone disappears over the horizon, God is just waiting to catch you, so lean on Him & be honest about what you're feeling.
Look forward to hearing the news as it happens!
love, Vicki
